The Singaporean government has relaxed its Travel Advisory to Sri Lanka to exercise caution from defer all non-essential travels.
The Singapore government in a release said since the Easter Sunday attacks there have been no further major security incidents in Sri Lanka.
The advisory said while there is still a risk and the State of Emergency in force, security has been tightened at key installations including places of worship, tourist locations and airports.
The advisory further said Singaporeans travelling to Sri Lanka are advised to exercise caution.
For Singaporeans already in Sri Lanka, the advisory advised to stay vigilant and take all necessary precautions for your personal safety, including to monitor the news closely and heed the instructions of the local authorities.
The advisory also advised its citizens to avoid public places where there are large gatherings of people.
