Govt tapping phones of selected individuals?
The Joint Opposition charges the government of tapping the phones of selected individuals.
Speaking at a media briefing this morning Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma said such actions are unconstitutional.
MP Alahapperuma stressed the government banned transitions at the TNL Polgahawela tower adding the conflict is at its peak.
The Parliamentarian noted even though the government speak of democracy, democracy does not exist.
Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma also claimed that a snap Presidential Election can be called on the 9th of January 2019.
He noted Constitutionally a Presidential Election can be held adding if so there are just 150 days.
The Parliamentarian stated there are 444 days for the present government to complete its 5 years claiming the Joint Opposition will open a red book instead of a black book on the illicit orders issued by officials of the government.
