Interim order against dissolution of parliament
The Supreme court has issued an interim order against the gazette notification through which parliament was dissolved.
The verdict was delivered by a three-judge bench chaired by the chief justice.
The interim order will be in effect until the 7th of December. The verdict was issued after taking into consideration 12 petitions filed with the Supreme Court against the dissolution of parliament.
The Supreme Court today granted leave to proceed hearing the 12 petitions and noted that the hearings will take place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December.
