Printing of official ballot papers for the Presidential election has already begun.
The Government Printer Mrs. Ganga Kalpani Liyanage stated that the printing of ballot papers has commenced at district level under the protection of the police.
Accordingly, around 10.6 million ballot papers will be printed this year, she said.
Ballot papers must be printed and finalized 10 days before the election.
The National Election Commission stated that the ballot paper will be about 26 inches long.
This is because 35 candidates are contesting.
