The World Health Organization urges that it is not urgent to ease the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, Switzerland, its chief, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, said the spread of the new coronavirus is slowing in some countries.
But he also pointed out that the new coronavirus virus could rise deadly again if it were to ease the restrictions. It was emphasized at this occasion that the restrictions imposed should be maintained despite severe economic problems.
The World Health Organization said this while working to ease some of the restrictions imposed by Italy and Spain, the most threatened by the new corona virus.
In the last 24 hours, however, there were 634 new Corona deaths from Spain and 570 new Corona deaths from Italy.
The United States, which has identified the world’s largest number of new coronavirus infections, recorded 2,043 new coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours.
