FR petitions challenging the dissolution of Parliament on the 4th day
Fundamental Rights petitions challenging the gazette notification issued by the President to dissolve Parliament are due to be taken up at the Supreme Court for the fourth day.
That is when the Chief Justice was appointed before the seven-member panel of judges.
The Supreme Court yesterday issued an interim injunction order to extend the interim order issued by the President to dissolve the Parliament by issuing a gazette notification issued on the 09th.
The bench headed by the Chief Justice, Nalin Perera ordered that the petition be re-examined on the 4th day of the petitions filed against the gazette notification.
